THE PROJECT

Bonetto Med-Tech has developed a fully automated assembly line for medical Injector Pen bodies, engineered to manage up to 15 different product variants within a single integrated system.

The line stands out for its intelligent changeover management: switching between variants is performed via software-driven recipe changes, featuring automatic retooling and rapid feeder emptying to effectively eliminate setup downtime.

The system is qualified to operate in controlled environments according to ISO 14644 standards (Cleanroom ISO Class 8), utilizing materials and components specifically selected for medical applications.

QUALITY CONTROL AND TRACEABILITY
Real-time monitoring and verification for every unit throughout the entire production line

  • Functional testing: setting torque, zero return, body height, and piston position.
  • Differentiated reject management: segregated handling of good parts, Q-parts, and scrap.
